The GodSpeaks campaign, which started in the late ’90s has been my inspiration.

I wanted to do something similar, so I made a black T-shirt featuring John 15:12 in bold white type. I wore it often in public to remind others of Jesus’ command that we love one another.

The response was very encouraging, so I started the BibleSays project and created a few more T shirts with different verses, all built around the same simple idea:

Wear the Word. Model the Message.
