Ninja Foodi Grill

My Ninja Foodi Grill Review

Here is my review of the Ninja Foodi Grill I use in my passionate pursuit of creating incredible meals at home.

The last piece to my indoor barbecue puzzle was grilling. I have my Presto for indoor smoking, my Joule to cook low and slow, and now I needed an indoor grill. After researching my options, I chose the Ninja Foodi Grill.

It’s bold and beautiful

The first thing to note is that the Ninja Foodi Grill is big, not huge, but significant. It is a boxy 7 inches long by 14 inches wide by 11 inches tall. With the grill, you get a hefty grill grate, a crisper basket, and a cooking pot that are all coated with a ceramic nonstick finish.

Fortunately, the Ninja Foodi Grill is a beautiful appliance and looks good on the counter, so I don’t mind leaving it out from time to time. That said, it is small enough to fit in my apartment kitchen cabinets, so it’s not difficult to tuck it away to free up counter space.

In addition to grilling, it can also air fry, bake, roast, and dehydrate, but as you might imagine from its name, this Foodi can grill!

The digital control panel on the grill is well designed and easy to read. I love the fact that the grill preheats automatically, with preset grill settings that reach up to 500°F.

Grillin’ and chillin’

I’ve been able to get fantastic char and grill marks on ribs, steaks, and salmon. If not for the unique curved grill marks, you’d be hard-pressed to tell I make my Grilled Veggie Skewers indoors.

My favorite part of the grilling experience is that the Ninja was entirely smokeless throughout. I am not alone in this regard; other owners rave about its grilling and air frying performance and love the fact that it’s smokeless.

As I stated initially, I bought the Ninja Foodi Grill for grilling, but as an air fryer, the Foodi Grill rivals the best air fryers on the market.

If you don’t like turning on your oven, you can roast a small cut of meat on the Ninja Grill and apparently can even bake a cake in the Foodi Grill in a pinch, as the cooking pot is large enough to hold an 8-inch pan.

The Ninja Foodi Grill comes with a comprehensive and easy-to-understand owner’s guide, as well as a booklet that contains recipes and cooking charts for grilling, air frying, and dehydrating.

Final analysis

Overall, the Ninja Foodi Grill has done everything I’ve asked it to do and more. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves grilled foods but doesn’t have easy access to an outdoor grill.
