  • You Name It

Inspired by Pastor Shirley Caesar and DJ Suede’s “You Name It” remix, this design says, “You name it, God gave it.”

I know the #UNameItChallege was years ago, but DJ Suede’s “You Name It” Remix is a classic unto itself.

While recently working on a design inspired by Pastor Shirley Caesar’s iconic sermon, I couldn’t help but do a little something based on the song.

  • Black Parent

Inspired by a scene in Black Panther (2018), this design is about recognizing that parents are real superheroes.

The scene in Black Panther where T’Challa reunites with his father hit me deeply. It reminded me that even superheroes need their parents—for guidance, strength, and identity.

In a world full of chaos, it reaffirmed how vital parenthood is. The hands that raise us may not rule the world, but they shape those who will.

Watching it again, I thought, “My superhero needed his superhero.”

    T’Challa needed T’Chaka.

The Black Panther needed his Black Parent.

  • Man For The Job

Inspired by a line I remembered wrong from Wonder Woman (2017), this design is about a woman being the “man for the job.”

This design is one of the first I did back in 2017.

In Wonder Woman (2017), when Diana heads off to war with Steve Trevor, I could’ve sworn he says they need to get “the right men for the job.” to which Diana replies, “I am the man for the job!”

For me, that line set the whole movie off, and I immediately, while still in the theater, started thinking of a t-shirt design.

After watching the movie again recently, that is NOT what is said. LOL!

In talking about the war and what little they can do about it, Steve says, “I mean, we can get back to London, and try to get to the men that can.” to which Diana replies, “I’m the man who can!”

That said, even though it’s wrong, I still prefer my version of the dialog.

  • Yah Mo B There

Inspired by the James Ingram / Michael McDonald classic, this design reminds us that Yahweh (God) will be there.

“Yah Mo B There” is one of my favorite 80’s songs. As a kid, I loved it without fully understanding the lyrics.

Later, my Aunt Candy, a big Yankees fan, gave me the CD, and the song’s message, that God will always be there, deeply resonated with me.

Inspired by the song, my aunt, and the Yankees logo, I created a design reflecting the song’s timeless message.

  • Himprinted

Inspired by the James Cleveland classic, “Touch Me”, this concept reflects how The Lord left has His mark on me, and hopefully you.

During one of my morning walks, I happened to be listening to it.  In the song, they sing of their desire to be touched by The Lord, and with this concept, I wanted to proudly show that I have been.

  • Gideon

Inspired by G.I. Joe, a real American hero, this design is about Gideon, one of my favorite Bible heroes, becoming a valiant warrior.

Growing up in the ’80s, G.I. Joe was essential TV. The Joes were true American heroes, and the life lessons from their “Now you know” segments have stayed with me ever since.

Similarly, Gideon from the Bible is one of my all-time favorite heroes. I’ve always connected with his desire to be absolutely certain he was hearing from God. Even after being called a “valiant warrior” by God, his journey was far from easy.

If you’re not familiar with Gideon’s story, you can find it in Judges 6-8.

This design is a tribute to two of my favorite warrior heroes: the steadfast courage of Gideon and the iconic spirit of the G.I. Joes.

  • Mountain Praise

Inspired by Kurt Carr and Mountain Dew, this design is about giving praise for every mountain the Lord has brought you over.

I am a huge fan of Mountain Dew, especially Code Red. That sugary goodness has powered plenty of late-night coding sessions in the past. The occasions are exceedingly rare when I drink one now, but one day I had one at the same time “For Every Mountain” by Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers came on.

This one designed itself and promotes giving thanks for every mountain that God has bought you over.

  • Allsafe

Inspired by Allstate and the song “Safe in His Arms”, this design promotes a different type of insurance that everyone needs.

On a morning walk, I passed an Allstate office while listening to this song and remembered their tagline, “You’re in good hands.” It made me think of a different type of insurance we all need. Being in “good hands” is comforting, but I find true peace knowing I’m in His hands.

  • Ezekiel For Prophet

Inspired by the words and warnings from Ezekiel, this design promotes voting for him to be the Prophet of The United States.

Recently, while reading Kingdom Man Rising, I was reminded of Ezekiel in The Valley of Dry Bones, which can be found in Ezekiel 37:1-14. The bones represented a nation in a state much like our own.

Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look how they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.’

    Ezekiel 37:11

In America, we focus on electing Presidents to revive the nation, but I propose we embrace Ezekiel as Prophet, “hear the Word of the Lord,” and let His breath restore us as one nation under Him.
